Author Registration Policy

The author registration deadline is 16 August 2019. All authors, for all tracks of the conference, including workshops must have registered by this deadline. Papers must be covered by an author registration in order to be included in the conference proceedings (ACM Digital Library).

Each paper at the conference must be covered by an author registration according to the following rules.

  • One full complete-conference registration (5 days registered as ACM/SIG or a non-ACM/SIG Member) can be used to cover one long paper (8 pages) in the main track of the conference (including BNI) and up to one other short paper (e.g., demo, open source software competition, Grand Challenge) or workshop paper (long or short paper at a workshop). Alternatively, one full complete-conference registration can be used to cover up to two papers that are either short papers (e.g., demo, open source software competition, Grand Challenge) or workshop papers (long or short paper at a workshop).
  • One 1-day-workshop registration (student or full) covers one workshop paper.
  • One student complete-conference registration (5 days registered as student) covers one doctoral consortium paper and up to one other short paper (e.g., demo, open source software competition, Grand Challenge) or workshop paper (long or short paper at a workshop). Note that if a student would like to register and have that registration cover a long paper in the main track of the conference, then that student must not register as a student but instead complete a full registration (as an ACM/SIG or a non-ACM/SIG Member).

Tickets for Meals and Social Events

To reduce food waste, it is important that we have an exact headcount for all meals and social events. For this reason, we require that you commit yourself in advance to each individual event at which food and drink is served, i.e., the opening reception, the lunch for each individual day of the conference, and the banquet. To express this commitment we charge you a nominal fee of 5 Euros for a ticket for each event. Note that this fee is considerably lower than the cost of eating outside of the conference venue, and represents only a fraction of the cost of the catering. Thank you in advance for noting down which events you have committed to and attending these events.

Full registrations are eligible to purchase the following:

  • 1 lunch ticket for each conference day (5 Euros a piece)
  • 1 ticket for the opening reception Monday 21 October 2019 (5 Euros)
  • 1 ticket banquet ticket Wednesday 23 October 2019 (5 Euros)
  • Optionally 1 ticket for an accompanying person at the opening reception on Monday 21 October 2019 (50 Euros)
  • Optionally 1 ticket for an accompanying person at the banquet Wednesday 23 October 2019 (75 Euros)

Workshop day registrations are eligible to purchase the following:

  • 1 lunch ticket (5 Euros)
  • 1 ticket for the opening reception Monday 21 October 2019 (5 Euros)

Please select and purchase meal and social event ticket(s) according to these specifications. Ineligible purchases cannot be used and also cannot be refunded. In a case of extreme need, you can make changes to your selection of meals and social events later. However, in order to do so, you need to emailing the organization company, Mathez travel. For this reason, we ask you to plan carefully now and avoid the need to make changes.
